Carsten wrote a nice alternative to the Recent Comments widget:
I just ported the Binary Blue specific Sidebar Widget, which adds full support for Brian’s Latest Comments, into a general purpose Sidebar Widget.
It may be a while before Brian updates his plugin with a built-in widget.

I’ve patched the underlying Brian’s Latest Comments plugin to support AJAX Enhanced Paged Comments like contained in Binary Blue. This modification integrates seemlessly into this widget and adds lots of usability for visitors.
