The new MSN Status Widget grabs your MSN Messenger status and nickname and shows it in your sidebar. It doesn’t seem to expose your email address, which is what someone would need to know to add you to their contacts and send a message. I suppose that’s good.

For a great polling widget, here is a plugin to widgetize Democracy. This requires Andrew Sutherland’s excellent Democracy plugin.

I just ported the Binary Blue specific Sidebar Widget, which adds full support for Brian’s Latest Comments, into a general purpose Sidebar Widget.
It may be a while before Brian updates his plugin with a built-in widget.
