Stine sent in a progress bar widget that lets you display the progress of any sort of procession as a colored bar and percent indicator. Good for projects, fund raising goals, etc.

Luc sent us his SparkStats widget for use with the SparkStats plugin.

Not into the whole brevity thing? Proudly verbose? Try Word Stats. It sets up a bunch of stats about your writing: words per post, total words in blog, on and on.

Will Boyce sent in a widget that displays a list of stats from several sources.

Charts @ Kekova

Add a chart to your sidebar with the Charts @ Kekova widget. Chart anything you like. Change the numbers on Kekova and your chart changes immediately. A nice little app!

Brian’s Latest Comments

Carsten wrote a nice alternative to the Recent Comments widget:

I just ported the Binary Blue specific Sidebar Widget, which adds full support for Brian’s Latest Comments, into a general purpose Sidebar Widget.

It may be a while before Brian updates his plugin with a built-in widget.

Alan Morgan has started his own widget plugin to widgetize the Get Weather plugin.

jsScrobbler

Johannes Scholven sent in yet another Audioscrobbler/LastFM widget for displaying your recently heard tracks. I'm happily using my RSS widget for that but as usual with WordPress plugins, you have more than one option.

Hannes also wrote a widget for displaying charts of last.fm listening statistics. (This week he's been listening to The Futureheads, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Tomte.)

Zach announces a widget that displays your last.fm music charts as a graphic in your sidebar. (He seems to like R.E.M., The Fray and C.C.R.)
